Job Description:
Job Title: Technology - Data Governance Specialist- Assistant Vice President
Location: Manila
Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President
CCO DQM is a newly created team in the Group Chief Data Office. The team will evolve and change over time as analysis, definition, design and delivery of the required control framework and processes may happen.
The team will work closely with CDO's Data Insights team to develop and automate the key DQ analytics and remediation capabilities and technology teams for the build out of CCO DQ services and functionality for exception and correction management workflow.
This role focuses on publishing of CCO data quality metrics and reporting, accepting data challenges from downstream consumer processing units and raising data challenges to the upstream publishing divisions/applications.
Your Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage projects under the CCO DQM Book of Work such as Metrics Legacy, Data Analytics / Reporting Automation, and Timeliness of Services.
Responsible for coordinating and communicating with stakeholders across the enterprise, conducting regular working group calls, and driving problem solving / root cause analysis on data quality issues.
Manage the delivery of functional/non-functional requirements, preparation of Management Information reports and dashboards, and monitoring of STP data quality and timeliness / performance of CCO data services.
Establish new metrics for CCO DQM and put forward new initiatives for Data Analytics / Reporting Automation.
Your Skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent; preferably with experience in the Financial Services Industry.
Experience in setting up and implementing robust operational processes in the DB environment.
Strong interest in data, data analysis, and data principles.
Strong analytical skills - manipulating big data e.g. Alteryx / Python and creating reporting views e.g. QlikSense / Tableau, and other reporting tools. Experience in DB data flows and systems a major advantage.
Ability to structure and resolve issues in a live cadence within this framework.
Strong people skills - particularly the ability to work with extended teams / partners across DB.
Ability to work in an agile manner with teams within CDO and at the wider bank levels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English across all levels, including experience in preparing and delivering presentations.
Experienced in effective stakeholder management, managing conflicts, and balancing out different interests.
Willingness to constructively interact with other people across teams and ability to support and guide junior colleagues on their professional and personal development.
Ability to increase motivation and engagement across the team and act as a role model / champion for DB values.
