Job Description:
Our technology teams are responsible for the bank's entire information technology infrastructure. They develop and maintain the software required to support the bank's business. The teams work closely with the businesses and other infrastructure units to modernise the bank's IT systems to reduce complexity, risk and enable business growth.
The PACE Manila - Business Functional Analyst is primarily responsible for capturing and documenting the full range of requirements, translating these requirements into system specific functional specifications to enable solution development, analysing the impact of changes and supporting the business throughout the implementation process. The BFA is also responsible for preparing business-facing documentation such as user manuals (where applicable) and solution briefs. The BFA may also providing production level 3 support to ensure platform stability in production.
Your key responsibilities
Involve in business process analysis and requirements gathering, formulating functional / non-functional specification documentations with users and engineering teams. Incorporates understanding of the business architecture into own work.
Creates process and data modelling techniques to support applicable data flows and models. Supports User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defining testing requirements including test plans, test cases, test-data and review of interface testing between different applications. Works with engineers to resolve functional issues arising from UAT.
Creates reports providing interpretation and insight into business data and processes. Creates and modifies business facing documentation (e.g. user manuals, solution briefs, functional summaries).
Communicates business process improvement through application of detailed analytics or root cause analysis. Leverages visualisation techniques.
Works with engineers, trouble shooting and resolving reported bugs / issues on application. Develops hypotheses to explain why process, functional or data issues have occurred or are likely to occur
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related discipline. Business Analysis certification is an advantage.
Accounting background is an advantage. Experience on Reporting platform such as Tableau and Python is an advantage. Extensive years of experience in Business Analysis role.
Elicited business requirements and produce Business Requirements Document esp for inter-related systems/applications. Investigated production issues or defects raised by stakeholders and manage remediation process. Analyzed and recommended solutions through Functional Solution and Impact Analysis Documents.
Created and Analyzed new and existing data models and its relationships. Created presentation packs for stakeholders and able to speak the same language to come up with a clear definition of requirements as well as for user trainings.
Performed/Supported Systems Integration Testing, User Acceptance Training that followed testing methodology. Managed operational readiness of the users is an advantage. Involved in waterfall and/or agile project implementation.
