*The Technical Writer new hire is expected to work from home for the mean time due to COVID. Once everything is back to normal, the Technical Writer new hire will be expected to report in either our IT Park or JY offices in Cebu.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The technical writer creates and updates technical or functional documents, which may include user guides, video tutorial scripts, business process documents, release notes, marketing copy, newsletter articles. The technical writer directly reports to the documentation team lead.
LOCATION: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Researching available product information
Coordinating with technical experts and other employees in collaborative projects
Verifying collected information by conducting independent tests on the software
Ensuring that a document's content is accurate and understandable to a worldwide audience
Submitting a draft to an editor
Recording a project's progress in a task management tool
