Technical Writer
Reports to: Project Manager
Location: Remote Work
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled technical writer to create and maintain technical documentation for our products and
services. The Technical Writer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product
management, and customer support to develop high-quality technical content that is accurate, concise, and easy to
understand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, release notes, API
documentation, and online help systems
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and ensure
accuracy of content
• Edit and proofread technical content for clarity, consistency, and accuracy
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical documentation is up-to-date
and meets user needs
• Organize and maintain technical content in a content management system
• Ensure documentation follows company style and branding guidelines
• Conduct user research to understand user needs and improve documentation
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in technical
writing
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as technical communication, journalism, or
engineering) preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in technical writing or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate technical information into clear and concise documentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with documentation tools such as Adobe Technical Communication Suite,
MadCap Flare, or RoboHelp
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and XML
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of software development processes and terminology
Requirements
Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
3 years of experience
