Technical Support
Answers customer queries thru inbound calls and emails.
Identifies client problems. Provides issue resolution when able.
Documents customer requests and issues via a trouble ticketing system for proper documentation.
Escalates issues/concerns to appropriate personnel (Tier-level) for further analysis and resolution.
Works with IT and SOC teams for issue resolution.
Follows up ticket status and provides regular updates to users.
Others
Works US hours (24/5 at the office: Tuesdays to Saturdays, 0600H-1500H, 1400H-2300H, 2200H-0700H) and on PH holidays. On-call during weekends, 1500H Saturday to 1400H Monday.
Attends meetings, as required.
May report on non-regular working hours, as needed.
Performs other duties as requested and within areas of expertise.
Bachelor's Degree in any field of study related to Information Technology
With at least three (3) years' experience in the IT or BPO industry
Technical skills
Intermediate to advanced troubleshooting skills for computer hardware, software, and network/connectivity
Intermediate knowledge of Windows Active Directory services
Intermediate knowledge of internet and IT concepts and practices
Intermediate knowledge of network/connectivity: TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, LDAP, and VPN
Intermediate knowledge in information security concepts and practices
Intermediate knowledge in Windows, Windows Server, and iOS operating systems
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Visual Basic
Familiarity with databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access, PostgreSQL
Entry Level / Junior, Apprentice IT and Software Computer Software / Engineering 1 opening Bachelor's degree graduate
