Description
Manage the company business relationship to achieve relevant sales and marketing targets, associated with Key Performance Indicators; market share, sales volume, price, profit, customer relationship, account management, safety and compliances; primarily targeting technical customers and clients: real estate developers, contractors, concrete product manufacturers, and end users who require highly technical interaction.
Plans, develops and implements technical services strategy so as to generate optimum contribution margin and attain target market share with specific focus on market development, market testing of new and improved products, research, training, complaints management and knowledge resource /consultancy services.
Leads in ensuring that customer needs are captured and integrated in the formulation and implementation of Sales and Terminal strategy so as to achieve product differentiation, improve Brand Equity Index and generate customer value in sales activities and in the conduct of Technical Services.
• For his own sales segment and area:
Forecasts sales volume, selling price, profit, market share based on market reading of concerned sales area.
Sells and distributes Philcement products to attain the desired volume and market share for the concerned sales area based on approved selling prices.
Maintains proper account management of receivables through sustained collection of collaterals and payments on invoices, including Customer Withholding Taxes (CWT), application of Credit Memos and others.
Develops and maintains good customer relationship with the different employees of business partners to ensure sustainability of business; ensuring customers' issues are addressed at all times.
Implements marketing incentives and acts as resource person for the development and recommendation of marketing incentives needed in the area.
• Plans, develops and implements the pre-sales approach, especially for technical accounts and projects. These include execution of relevant experiments and trials and data analyses for cement and concrete products formulation to ensure product acceptance at a price with optimum contribution margin
• Develops technical materials and provides technical training to Sales Group so that product features and product differentiation, especially in terms of product application performance, are effectively communicated and optimum pricing is implemented
• Provides technical training to Terminal group so that product optimization is strategically aligned with Sales and market requirements
• Develops and implements technical materials and training modules for external stakeholders (Contractors, Specifiers, Regulators) to align the company's product portfolio and current market requirements
• Manages technical customer concerns, ensures resolution at the shortest possible time and provides both internal and external recommendations to address the issue and prevent its recurrence
