Job Description
Responsibilities :
Course Development and Planning: Assist in the development and planning of the technical course syllabus, aligning the scope, goals, and deliverables with educational objectives and performance metrics.
Owing and running labs: The candidate is expected to teach practical concepts of computer subjects and should be able to explain concepts related to lab assignments. He should be able to develop complex concepts like writing the scheduler of a mock Operating system to develop a mock operating system.
Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between different roles in the program, including professors, students, and the academic team. This ensures that all aspects of the course are aligned. Maintaining operational efficiency.
Owning up Academic Success: Building up student journeys and learning paths aligning them with the short and long-term company vision. Identify, analyze, and address academic risks and issues that students may face. Develop and implement strategies to help students overcome these challenges.
Tutoring and Student Support: Provide one-on-one or group tutoring to students who need additional help understanding course material. Serve as a point of contact for students, answering questions about course materials, assignments, and course expectations.
Stakeholder Management: Regularly update stakeholders, such as faculty and students, on the course's progress. This includes presenting reports on academic achievements, course milestones, and challenges.
Key Skills :
3+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
Understanding either of Python is a must, and one must be able to learn new languages quickly.
Should be able to write code cleanly and debug issues in code.
Should be exceptional at DSA and problem-solving. Should be able to train students for ICPC.
Should be able to understand and teach math for computer science (Probability and Stats, Discrete Maths, etc.)
Should be able to deliver complex projects of web development.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to students.
You should be able to pick up and learn core computer science subjects like Networks, Databases, etc.
Good to have:
Teaching experience to undergraduate or graduate students.
Understanding of teaching methodologies and tools.
