The Technical Product Manager is the top level decision at appficiency and nobody has a greater say in how the product works, how it should be designed, function, and what markets you want it to serve. The Talent
A dynamic leader to drive our product vision from idea to reality to join our team. You'll have the opportunity to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty at the intersection of development, sales, leadership, and business. You will lead and influence across the organization without authority, and work actively and constantly to be the utmost guru on what the product can do and can be modified to do down to the code-level interaction with the platform (currently, Netsuite). You will partner closely with the developer team to lead a product(s) through completion and manage releases and iterations.
The Commitment
As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for ideation, requirements definition, and overall roadmap for a product or set of products, and working closely with a talented team of developers to deliver these to our customers.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside Appficiency leadership to shape the latest product builds that will create new market opportunities
You will make data-driven prioritization decisions and trade-offs to shape the roadmap
Working with various departments and customer types, you will serve as the voice of the customer, collecting data and insights to inform your product design and development by communicating solutions to developers clearly and concisely, and ensuring projects are delivered on-time as per specifications
You should be comfortable being first level of QA on new development and be able to demonstrate the nuances of the product at any time
Delivery quarterly reviews and other documentation/reporting to Senior Management
Be the solutions' expert for Appficiency products, updating documentations, training others on the product, product certification, maintenance and upkeep
The Essentials * Proven ability to quickly deep dive and become an industry expert in a complex field
3-5 years in enterprise or technical product management, preferably at a high growth tech company
Strong strategic thinking skills and data driven problem solving
Detail oriented and insists on high standards for product development
Proactive/self-driven with a big vision approach to problem solving and product roadmapping
The Add-ons * 2+ years experience architecting solutions for NetSuite
We are a global company, so international experience is a plus
Degree in computer science / engineering, or equivalent work experience
Previously worked with third party platform and marketplaces
Thrives in an ambiguous environment where personal drive and judgment need to be exercised daily
