Job Description
Responsible for providing sales support to prospects in partnership with Technology Sales, Technology Services and Product Management teams. Acts as consultant throughout the sales cycle, ensures a smooth transition from the Sales process to the Project process.
Travel
Travel required, may be up to 40%, domestic or international
Job Accountabilities
The primary accountability of the pre-sales consultant is to support sales efforts that includes bid management, RFP responses, preparing technical proposal, solution documents, diagrams, product presentations, coordination for pricing proposal etc.
You will act as lead contact between prospects for understanding business requirements, conducts workshops, analyze requirements, define functional requirements etc.
Identifies and presents appropriate solutions
Assist sales team to technically qualify prospect
Keep track of industry trends and market direction to support sales efforts
Skills
In-depth knowledge of payments technology products includes ATM switch, Device Management, Card Management, Card associations, transaction switching, back-office processing, EMV, Fraud Management, Payment Gateway, 3 D Secure, POS driving, Merchant Management, Bill Payment etc.
Emerging trends such as NFC, QR, Biometric, usage of handheld devices in payments
Experience of bid management, RFP responses
Excellent verbal & written skills
Good presentation skills
Should be team player
Ability to work with aggressive timelines
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 10 years' experience payments company or bank's information technology divisor
Minimum 2 years' experience of bid management in financial industry such as banks
