Position Description:
Providing technical support & expertise to the aquaculture related functions like sales and product development
Developing protocols and study design of pre-marketing or post-registration trials
Functions, Duties, Tasks:
Independently, or cooperatively, complete relevant pre-marketing and post-registration trials, collect data and write trial reports or cases of production use and provide technical content for related marketing material and communication.
Actively network in the Elanco and the local aquaculture community (incl. local opinion leaders) to understand and internally communicate different standpoints, experiences, and trends.
Lead communication of technical aspects with local farm producers or industry stakeholders.
Arrange technical seminars to fulfill the needs of customers (and sales force) as well as promotion meetings.
Provide technical support for customers and sales, offer solutions to technical problems, and maintain friendly relations with farm producers & customers.
Compile updated farm producer feed-back from product usage experience and farm production and aquaculture industry issues.
Provide technical input in customer communication using also digital communication tools.
Provide business development proposal to the Aqua team (locally and / or regionally), update the technical materials, collect market information, and provide proposals for updating products and product portfolio.
Minimum Qualification:
Master's degree or above, majored in Aquaculture, Veterinary Medicine, Marine Biology or a similar experience.
At least 5 years of working experience in an aquaculture relevant function. Your experience in science or aquaculture (hatchery, pond, or feed) production, or aquatic animal disease diagnosis and prevention is of advantage.
