Our client is seeking a Technical Business Development Officer to work within their facilities located in Manila, Philippines for a permanent assignment.
The main responsibility is the designing of the PV System's Mechanical-Civil aspect, preparation of design drawings, simulation and analysis of energy yields, Terrain Analysis, and support any other requirements of the Business Development team.
Scope of Work
PV System Design (mechanical/civil drawings).
Electrical Engineering Design (for Electrical Engineers only).
Terrain Analysis using Helios3D & Civil3D software.
Yields Analysis using PV System.
Preparation of design drawings using AutoCAD software.
Estimation and preparation of Bill of Materials.
Conduct site surveys & Prepare Reports.
Any other technical support as required by the BD team related to development of the project
Requirements of This Role
Licensed Civil or Electrical Engineer.
For Civil Engineers:
? minimum experience of 2 years in land development, construction, or design
? Familiar with land surveying techniques, lot plan standards & different coordinate systems used in mapping.
? Able to use Civil3d for Cut-&-Fill & Terrain Analysis.
? Able to estimate and prepare BOM.
For Electrical Engineers:
? Minimum experience of 2 years in design & construction.
? Able to estimate and prepare BOM.
Familiar with technical standard in their respective fields.
Proficient in the use of software: AutoCAD, Civil3D, QGIS, Google Earth, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
With good data analytical skills and can draw conclusive decisions from it.
Articulate in the technical aspect of the design.
Open minded to learning new skills & software tools beyond his/her field of expertise.
Innovative thinker and a strong decision maker.
Team player & open to multi role possibility, such that for Electrical Engineers extend task to electrical engineering design as needed.
Other Working Conditions
Able to work home-based and office-based.
Any home-based work arrangement is subjected to the approval of immediate line manager, aligned with government mandates.
Travel to project sites from time to time within APAC region.
