The Role
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing business operations and analytics focused on addressing specific business problems through different data solutions applicable that may/may not exist. Specifically, providing simple to complex business analysis work to a project/initiative in the cloud data platform.
How you'll contribute
Gather the data requirements needs from Business Users to facilitate development of solutions to satisfy data needs for integration, data analysis and reports.
Advise on data model design and implement solutions that prepares data for data lake, data marts and data frame.
Understand and create business requirements and being able to elaborate this with the functional needs to a technology solution.
Links between the end-user and the project, providing documentations.
Consultant for projects, products and initiatives when it comes to data topics.
Analyzes and reviews business requirements through collaborative discussions with business and technology team to arrive at comprehensive and sound project assessment.
Good understanding of Agile Development methodologies.
Good understanding of information systems and data life cycle management best practices and methodologies.
Experience or knowledgeable with SQL Database, Pyspark and other AWS tools and services.
Help business determine the best solution to current business data challenges and explore new technologies.
Works together with the technical team and/or solutions provider in reviewing the functional specifications by identifying gaps, if any, to ensure that the solution design satisfies the business requirements.
Ensuring an efficient data structure capable to feed the reporting platform.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/ Banking, Computer Science/Engineering, Open to any field of study
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Banking and Financial, Business Analysis, Project Management, Change Management * Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is a plus
Requires experience/in-depth knowledge of the business, and business analysis
Proven high performer with strong time management skills, ability to multitask and highly organized
Knowledge in project/change management and understanding, analyzing information and problem solving, initiatives planning
Strong collaborator across various functional organizations to achieve a common goal
Good understanding of Data lake, Datamarts and Dataframe
Knowledgeable in Datawarehouse concepts
Excellent problem identification, solving, critical-thinking, and remediation skills
Understanding of sound impact and root-cause analysis
Excellent communication and presentation skill
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and BA Tools skills
