technical Business Analyst - executiveMacquarie Group

We have an exciting role in the Static Data & Flows Technology Team in Manila. We are looking for a business analyst with a keen eye for detail, a knack for problem solving, and strong focus on effective delivery. We are a global team, supporting trades and static flow systems within the organization.
Our team oversees relations with multiple external vendors and facilitates the static needs of multiple business functions and applications within the bank. We primarily support the Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) Group with regular interactions with various business stakeholders and other technology teams.
You will join a dynamic team that owns globally used services and work side by side with experienced technology SMEs in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Analyse and translate business requirements for the bank's instruments data management system
Provide technical and data analysis for project requirements
Manage and refine the product and sprint backlog
Update JIRA tracking for projects
Conduct analysis and investigation for system and data issues
Facilitate team Scrum meetings
Liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors for the team's supported functions
Key Skill Requirements
Technical
o Experience with SDLC tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
o Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL and stored procedures is a plus)
o AWS knowledge will be considered an advantage
Other
o Experience working with middle and/or back-office functions in a financial institution
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
o Excellent verbal and written communication
o Basic knowledge of equity derivative products is a plus
o Knowledge with Bloomberg back office and per security products a plus
o Knowledge with Refinitive DataScope Select
