Responsibilities
Post cash transactions into Regis daily and update bank reconciliation file
Apply cash to payments in Regis
Save support for all cash transactions
Complete call back procedures for new bank details
Allocate receipt balances to Reinsurance Accountants
Process payment requests from Reinsurance Accountants including intercompany transfers
Communicate with Brokers to provide payments status, request support for cash received and provide correct bank details
Capture relevant contract data in the company's underwriting systems
Ensure necessary compliance documentation is complete for assigned contracts
Complete contract data reviews in the Regis
Process addenda and adjustment of data when required
Maintain electronic files for assigned contracts
Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Required Skills/Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role with a relevant educational background
Strong computer skills, in particular, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications
Ability and willingness to work well and collaborate with others
Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively at all levels
A natural ability to be resourceful and think outside the box
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with tight deadlines during peak periods
A strong work ethic with the ability to self-manage while working without supervision
Prior insurance, reinsurance and/or contract wording experience would be a plus
Fluency in English, any other additional language would be a plus
Education
4-year degree in in a business-related field.
