Technical architect | remoteKalibrr

Kalibrr has scaled to 5 million users, and we're looking forward to the next 5 million. As a Technical Architect, you will help Kalibrr achieve this by defining and implementing projects on the database level to make our platform more scalable for 10 million users and beyond. Your will:
Translate business and technical requirements into feasible and scalable database solutions
Take ownership in the direction, design, and architecture of our data stores and their schemas to help support the Kalibrr Platform's scalable and sustainable user growth
Guide and coordinate with our SRE and Platform teams during the implementation of datastore refactoring and/or migration efforts
Guide the platform team with regards to the optimal way to read or write data to ensure the best service performance for application teams accessing Kalibrr APIs and other services
Experience in defining the schema and architecture for databases that handle large volumes of data
Experience in the safe implementation of data migration and knowledge of industry best practices
Knowledge of best practices for data security
Experience in the use and implementation of high-performance relational databases (RDBMS) like Postgresql or MySQL is required
4+ years' experience working with Apache Lucene (SOLR and/or ElasticSearch) and its complementary components.
Years work experience: at least 5 years of experience
Good Understanding of Elasticsearch internals. Managing & improving Elasticsearch clusters performance
Experience in ElasticSearch Search API and Indexing API
Experience with Web Services (JSON, REST)
Experience implementing builds of indexes, shards, and refined searches across semi-structured data sets to include architectural scaling
Experience in the use of different types of databases that are best suited for the requirements defined by internal and external stakeholders (Relational DBs, GraphDB, etc)
Experience with NoSQL DBs like MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis would be ideal.
