Job Descriptions
Prepares civil works design and detailed drawings. This includes road network and elevation, drainage system, water distribution system, pavement, fence, riprap, outfall and other development requirements.
Prepares calculations for design and ensures that everything is in compliance with the latest codes and ALSDC standards.
Prepares and collect references and request quotations needed for geotechnical report, flood studies and other engineering studies required.
Answer RFI/RFA from site engineers to complete needed information necessary for the project completion.
Conversion of civil works design into detailed drawings to be issued for permit, loans, bill of materials and construction purpose.
Liaising with other designers, including architects, to agree on safe designs and fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction.
Study building code updates, new software, new technology related to building design and land development construction for company's continuous improvement programs.
Perform regular site inspection to verify if actual works comply with the existing plans.
Examine land development structures at risk of collapse and advising how to improve their structural integrity, such as recommending removal or repair of defective parts or rebuilding the entire structure.
Allocate work to subcontractors for land development projects as required.
Prepares tender documents, and other documentation and facilitate pre-bid meetings for subcontractor applicants.
Perform technical review of subcontractor quotations for the preparation of construction agreements.
Conduct orientation to new contractors regarding company policies, processes and construction standards.
Carry out technical - material and cost studies for subdivision projects continuous improvements.
Train, motivate and coach subordinates to develop and improve work output.
Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Comply with the company 5S standards and safety regulations.
Job Qualifications
Basic knowledge in AutoCad and MS Office
Knowledgeable in civil works and structural design
Computer Savvy
Civil 3D Familiarity
ETABS and STAAD Software skills
Highly organized
Team player
Detail oriented
Works with minimal supervision
