Team Lead (solutions architect)PCCW

The Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering large scale development projects, especially for Pension Services:
Work with Lead System Architect and responsible to establish the overall design and architecture of the project delivery team.
Lead a team of vendors, contractors and consultants to formulate system architecture proposal
Act as a liaison between the IT and business community making sure the proposed technology to meet business needs.
Liaise with stakeholders to establish a design, technology, product development strategy
Evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues.
Prepare and deliver demonstration / presentation to a variety of audiences on a variety of software topics
Research, evaluate, and make recommendation regarding technology pertinent to business goals
The Person:
Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
At least 9 years of IT experience which includes at least 5 years of experience in design and implementation of application architecture for web-based applications and mobile applications
Experience in using Java EE , Hibernate, Entity Framework, Jasper Reports and Unit Testing
Deep experience in end-to-end Solution building (ground-up), Java Full Stack experience, Microservices experience, LDAP, Oracle and DevOps.
Technical knowhow and working experience of the following technology stacks:
Spring Framework
Springboot
Java 8 and above
Unit Testing
Oracle
CI/CD
AWS cloud deployment.
Good to have:
React JS/Node JS
Experience working with diverse teams of vendors, consultants, and contractors.
Experience in Enterprise Architecture and applying design patterns in solving problem
Excellent technical writing / documentation skills.
Effective verbal and written communication in English
Positive attitude, fast-learning, energetic, able to perform in challenging environment
