Job Description (Role Profile)
Come and join Avid's business operations team in Manila! We're a media technology company looking for a Team Leader for its Learning Services Operations Team. You will be responsible for supervising the activity of 3 Business Operations Specialists and Administrators. This is a great opportunity to develop you management skills, as in addition to day-to-day activities to support business operations for our Learning Services, you will report about the activity of the team, ensure transfer of knowledge to the team, as well as coach and train them as necessary through regular team meetings and 1:1s. As Team Lead, you're expected to proactively review, recommend and improve business process best practices and can be involved in Business Operations projects.
Activities include:
Identifying projects and processes requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing operations; determining project scope; documenting results; preparing customer contracts.
Developing problem solutions by describing requirements in a workflow chart and diagram; studying system capabilities; analyzing alternative solutions; preparing system specifications; writing programs.
Developing project estimates by identifying phases and elements, personnel requirements, and costs.
Maintaining systems by researching and resolving problems; maintaining system integrity and security.
Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Managing and coaching a team to accomplish your business goals collectively.
Your Profile:
4-6 years of business analysis experience.
A first successful experience in leading or managing a team.
Ability to create and maintain collaborative relationships with 3rd party vendors (resources, technologies) and other functions.
Experience with business solution development methodology.
Experience developing total cost of ownership and return on investment models.
Excellent communication and listening skills and ability to offer solutions with a consultative mindset.
Curiosity about the industry and the function supported, and ability to understand quickly a new business environment.
BS in Business or Finance is a strong advantage.
Mastering Office Suite, including strong Excel skills.
Full professional proficiency in English.
