Purpose of the role
This position should administer the end-to-end compensation process; all activities related to employee benefits and HRIS management including but not limited to overseeing, managing, and administering our employees' rewards, and benefits. Your role will be extremely important as you will be developing programs that improve the performance, engagement, and satisfaction of our employees.
Key Tasks & Deliverables
Compensation / Payroll:
Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
Calculating payroll liabilities by determining employee taxes, including SSS, Philhealth and HDMF
Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries
Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
Year end tax annualization process and issuance of BIR Form 2316
Maintaining the payroll system, vendor and managing all system-related concerns
Overall responsible for managing the payroll vendor, contract, annual contract renewal, and all payroll related concerns
Spearhead or assist in all payroll project initiatives and projects

Conduct salary and labor market research to define benchmarks

Conduct periodic audits, prepare and present reports
Overall responsible for managing the HMO process, vendor, contract, annual contract renewal, and all HMO-related concerns
Report Preparation:
Prepares month end reports for Finance (Payroll entries, Overtime/FTE hours, accruals and others)
Other reports required by Global Finance Team (Salary Estimation, Recharge Masterlist)
Prepares Personnel cost annual budget
HRIS Management:
Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions
Supervising the day-to-day activities of our HR information systems.
Recording and processing employee information including annual leave, salaries, and working hours.
Supporting management on structural policy matters related to the HRIS.
Maintaining data integrity in systems by regularly analyzing data.
Working alongside the Global HRIS to perform regular assessments and improvements to the HRIS.
Overseeing all system upgrades and system additions in partnership with the global Information System (Global HRIS) team.
HR Generalist
Act as a generalist to cover other HR facets that will give service to employees such as general HR concerns
Perform customer service and partner with internal stakeholders by answering employee requests and questions
Assist on various research projects and/or special projects
Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the HR manager
Travel Requirements
This role may not require traveling.
Function - / Market & Industry knowledge / Business Acumen / Process working
Good knowledge of principles and processes covering the full HR spectrum; end-to-end compensation cycle, benefits activities, and HRIS management.
Hands-on experience of HRIS; preferably SAP success factor
Working experience in BPO / Shared service center organizational structure is preferred
Working experience in freight forwarding/logistics business is an advantage
Educational background / Work experience
College bachelor's degree (any field or related/equivalent experience)
Psychology, HR Management or Business Administration with an HR emphasis is a good edge
Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Compensation & Benefits lead role
Minimum 3 years of people management experience
Minimum 1 year of HRIS management experience
Work experience in the freight forwarding/shipping line industry is an advantage
Work experience in the shared service center/BPO/back-office industry is an advantage
Language skills
Excellent English communication skills (speaking and writing)
Knowledge in another language is an advantage
Computer Literacy
Proficient in MS-Office applications
Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS, and/or applicant tracking systems
Skills in other HR-related applications/software are an advantage
