Work hours: 40 hours per week
Shift schedule: Flexible depending on the client needs, should be willing to work on either APAC, EMEA or US hours
Act as the global lead and focal point of contact for internal and external stakeholders of our company's travel and fleet management related projects
Collaborate and acts as a conduit or liaison between the client and their internal and external and suppliers
Perform administrative related tasks to help monitor and measure compliance of both internal employees and external suppliers to the client's policies and/or agreed contract requirements/expectations
Ability to provide detailed reporting and perform audits to address the client's internal needs
Support Travel and/or Fleet Administration related projects with a brief overview of the scope listed below but are not limited to:
Assist in the administration of the client's US fleet and mobility programs
Monitor and triage phone calls, emails and incoming mail, solving routine customer service - related issues/problems with drivers and/or suppliers, or escalate when required
Assist with reassignment of unassigned vehicles (request transportation and storage, monitor, tracking, escalation, etc.)
Develop and execute strategic initiatives to help drive savings into a client's travel and fleet management programo
Analyze client data to provide key recommendations on how to streamline the client's corporate travel and fleet management program
Responsible in ensuring that work hours are maximized on billable project time - the associate would monitor hours to ensure that he/she is working towards achieving his/her individual utilization goal.
Support all other projects or tasks assigned which are either relevant to the candidate's role/experience and/or will contribute to achieving our company's strategic imperatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any Tourism and/or Hotel Management related course
Experience in working with Travel, Hotel, Meeting and Fleet management related tools is a PLUS (i.e. Lanyon, Cvent, any Global Distribution Systems (GDS), Online Booking Tools (Concur, GetThere etc.) and similar)
An advantage, is for this person to have worked in the following types of organizations: Hotels, Meetings/Events Planning, Professional Services or Consulting Organizations, Corporate Travel, Travel agency, Fleet Operations/Management and other travel suppliers (i.e. airline, online travel websites)
A high degree of organization and attention to detail to create exceptional deliverables, intellectual curiosity to ask questions and gain clarity, and professionalism to build credibility in a client facing role.
History of working with large financial data sets from diverse environments.
A self-starter, has the keen ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions
Flexible working habits to accommodate project-based work schedule and global virtual meeting times
The ultimate multi-tasker and be able to work and collaborate with a cross functional global team
Ability to manage contingency planning based on changing situations - adjusting to ensure compliance and adherence to required timelines
A College Graduate and/or MBA is a plus
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal is a must Fluency in other international languages a plus
5 years (minimum) experience; no entry level applicants
