Duties and Responsibilities:
Relationship management with BIR.
LOA Handling and strategies.
Review tax filings on time and comply with all documentary requirements from BIR / SEC/ LGU.
Help produce tax reports, schedules, and summaries for internal & external customers.
Support period end financial closing activities for tax.
Meet service level agreements and performance targets related to the tax processes.
Provide audit support on external and internal audits.
Provide necessary tax advices to ensure full compliance for the assigned companies.
Perform offsite activities for BIR compliance, as necessary.
Attending Review Calls with OPCOS and handling Customer escalations.
Completion of various special tax projects as assigned.
Support Company initiated programs and activities ensuring active participation from team.
Identifies continuous improvement opportunities in quality & efficiency and supports implementation efforts across the Teams. Ensure build and implementation of best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any related finance courses
5 years + experience in tax compliance and BIR tax matters handling
Good communication and relationship management skill
Strong Excel and Analytic skills
Experience in Shared Service setup or Outsourcing is preferred
People management is a plus
