Key Accountabilities:
1. Tax Reporting and Compliance
a. Receives, reviews, processes or prepares transaction level documents to complete specific taxation procedures.
b. Prepares reports and documents, facilitates processes necessary to perform tax operations and administration.
c. Supports the conduct of regular tax audits by tax authorities.
d. Facilitates processing of regulatory tax permits and licenses, prepares and submits tax correspondences covering tax compliance.
e. Handles submission and monitoring of tax disputes ensuring minimal tax assessments.
2. Business Support and Collaboration on Tax Matters
a. Handles simple queries and requests from internal and external customers.
b. Provides functional expertise and first-hand taxation support to internal customers in accounting, risk management, special projects planning and other departments.
3. Continuous Process Improvement
a. Contributes to continuous process improvements and control changes within the Accounting group to improve overall performance.
Minimum Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant
Knowledge in Philippine Taxation
5 years related experience is preferred but new CPA passers may also be considered
