Qualifications & experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP is an advantage.
Strong financial analysis skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work with little to no supervision.
Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) is an advantage.
Tasks & responsibilities
Process, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare financial statements and produce budgets according to schedule.
Prepare for annual audits.
Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance.
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.
File and remit taxes and other financial obligations.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Perform bookkeeping.
Compute and process taxes and prepare tax returns.
Audit financial transactions and documents.
