About the role
Taft Property Venture Development Corp. is looking for a detail‐oriented and analytical Tax Officer to join our team in Cebu City. This full‐time role is responsible for managing the company's tax compliance, ensuring accurate tax filings, and supporting effective tax planning to maintain regulatory compliance and financial efficiency.
What you'll be doing
Handle timely and accurate tax filings for real estate transactions, project activities, and corporate operations.
Review tax implications of land deals, developments, leases, and sales to ensure BIR and LGU compliance.
Maintain and reconcile project-related tax records, including VAT, withholding, DST, and other property taxes.
Work with project, finance, and legal teams to support tax compliance during launches, turnovers, and sales.
Assist in tax audits and assessments by preparing required documents and ensuring alignment with real estate regulations.
What we're looking for
Certified Public Accountant (preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3-5 years of experience in tax compliance, ideally within a real estate or corporate setting.
Strong knowledge of BIR regulations and property-related tax requirements.
Detail‐oriented with the ability to ensure accurate filings and documentation.
Skilled in analyzing tax implications of real estate transactions and project activities.
Organized and reliable in maintaining tax records and supporting audits.
Proactive team player with solid analytical and communication skills.
