An attractive Tax Manager (US and EMEA) job has just become available at a global company with a business services centre based in Cebu City.
About the Tax Manager (US and EMEA) Role:
The Tax Manager (US and EMEA) will directly report to the Finance Business Controller and will be responsible for handling and managing the organisation's tax accounting functions. This includes tax compliance, tax returns, tax procedures and initiative, tax implications, global tax laws and regulations administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full scope of tax processes (i.e. tax planning, tax filings, tax advisory, tax transfer pricing, Ttax research, tax audit: gathering and creating schedules, etc.)
International taxation including but not limited to legal entity and branch reporting in foreign jurisdictions in terms of compliance and reporting
Manage and participate in the development of software solutions for tax automation
Work closely with various stakeholders to establish and refine tax policies, processes and system workflow
Maintain client relationships and build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and operating companies
Lead the professional and personal learning development of the tax team
Build strong relationships with the stakeholders, providing them with full support in various tax related projects
To succeed in this Tax Manager (US and EMEA) role, you must have at least eight years of international tax exposure and at least two years in a supervisory function, preferably in a shared service/BPO environment.
Key Requirements:
Degree in accounting or finance, CPA
Strong knowledge in international tax, preferably US/EMEA tax law exposure
International tax compliance experience (sales and use tax + EMEA VAT)
Hands-on exposure in using a tax software, preferably vertex
Good communication skills who can work in all levels in the organisation
Strong work ethics, team player, focused
Ability work under pressure with excellent stakeholder management
