I. PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Tax Leader supports and supervise the Accounting department by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, fielding communications with clients and vendors, fact-checking, filing, and other duties, as needed.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervision of Accounting Staff
✓ Supervise the subordinate Tax and Accounting Staff for their smooth daily operation of duties in the below, but not limited to:.
✓ If necessary, work by yourself and check the duties in the below:.
Tax Filing Preparation
✓ Collect, check and file in order the necessary documents to claim input VAT.
✓ Collect and summarize information for the calculation of taxes, such as travel expenses, helper's salary, and other expenses for the employees' benefits for the sake of FBT calculation.
✓ Collect and summarize information for the calculation of taxes, such as salary, welfare, bonuses, and other additions & deduction of the employees for the sake of PIT calculation.
✓ Prepare documentation for BIR and DOTr for the assumption of taxes.
✓ Apply and operate the CAS (Computerized Accounting System) as a separate accounting system for BIR, and always keeps tally with JV's accounting system (Cloudia).
✓ Communicate with Tax and Accounting Consultant for the proactive and protective taxation as well as to communicate with BIR (LT division) for JV's clear taxation goals.
Preparation for JV Partners' affairs
✓ Intercommunication with Shimizu employees for the matters related to the tax and others
Other tasks related to tax
III. EDUCATION, TECHNICAL CAPABILITY AND CAREER
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance
Has at least 5 years work experience in the same
CPA license is an advantage/preferred
Knowledgeable in MS Excel and Word
Advanced in English communication
