1. Financial Management and Reporting
Helps improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management

Performs researching and reporting on comparative financial information
Monitors financial movements within the branches and business units
Produces monthly management reports including key metrics, financial results and business unit variance reporting.
Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Collaborates with Accounting Analysts for any noted deviation in recording
2. Budget Operations and Controllership
Spearheads the annual branches and business unit budgeting and forecasting processes and assists the branches and business units in the preparation of their annual operating budgets
Reviews, verifies costs, expenses and acquisition requests of the business units and ensures that they are within the prevailing guidelines, operational mandates
Facilitates charging to appropriate cost and project dimensions in ERP
Reviews master data requests
Determines costs of operations by helping establish standard operations costs and collecting operational data
Guides revenue and cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques and recommending actions
3. Business Partnering
Develops financial models that help with decision making including among others business case preparations and generating related financial forecasts
Provides analytical, forecasting, reporting and project support to the branches and business unit to help determine budgets for upcoming projects.
Evaluates significant causes of variances and assists branches and business units in identifying possible pivots to still achieve business desired outcome or minimize potential losses.
Provides sound financial advise based on data driven analysis to the AOMs, Branch Supervisors and BU heads in collaboration with the Finance and Accounting Manager on financial management of the Region/ Branches
4. Governance
Develops initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth and financial operations.
Identify opportunities for performance improvement to increase productivity such as automation of finance and accounting applications or management information systems
Ensures financial transactions of the business unit it serves is compliant to financial and business policies
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and related trainings
