Description
TAX COMPLIANCE SUPERVISOR
· Monitor and coordinate the activities of Tax Manager
· Sees to it that the companies are compliant with all the necessary tax regulations
· Review of tax requirements of all companies
· Monitor all BIR remittances and local tax requirements, check accuracy and recommend adjustments whenever applicable.
· Lead the team in organizing of filing/safekeeping of tax related documents
· Check and balance with the book balances of various tax payable accounts, recommend necessary adjustments
· Ensure timely submission and completeness of documents required to provide for tax related audits, discuss to management if there are challenges
· Consult with Legal team whenever there is a need to reply to tax officials
· Receive tax related letters from government agencies, report to management and recommend action plans
· Attend meetings concerning tax related issues
· Coordinate with respective Business Units related to tax issues, whenever necessary
· Perform regular tax audits for companies; identify and avert all tax risks and discuss with management
· Be updated with the current tax issues and new regulations
· Attend to other tax related issues that may be assigned
