About the Tax Compliance Officer Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring correctness of all tax returns and assuring compliance with the tax codes, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to BIR
Ensure timely tax filing to BIR, monthly, quarterly, semi-monthly, and annual including tax books
Provide oversight and guidance to assigned staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness of funding of tax payments
Ensure that valid tax documents are present on all transactions
Research and respond to BIR tax audits
To succeed in this Tax Compliance Officer role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior stakeholders, internally and/or externally.
Key Requirements:
Must be a CPA
At least three years of work experience in BIR tax filings, tax strategy implementation, and planning support
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding on existing tax laws
