The role will focus on tax application configuration and maintenance and project support work and has scope to broaden / widen over time as the individual progresses.
Key areas will be as follows:
Supporting the eTax system including
Completing End to End Configuration Updates, including supervising and reviewing work by Tax Operations Team members
Reviewing, Testing and Applying standard content updates
Assisting with eTax queries from Business Unit users and Global Tax team members, act as a subject matter expert
Maintaining eTax learning guides, Process improvements and other Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) documentation, including maintenance of the internally developed eTax Updates application.
Supporting Tax Applications and Enterprise projects including:
Roll out of global applications and their impact on the eTax system
Involved in impact assessment, Project Management, training and delivery of new eTax system providers in the future
Other Tax Operations activity, supporting aspects of:
· Tax compliance activities (such as: calculation review, analysis, reconciliation, filing and payment) for Indirect, U.S. State/Federal and Local Taxes;
· Managing collection and submission of data for tax compliance;
· Monitoring tax compliance trackers;
· Maintaining and ensuring completeness of records and supporting documentations for all compliance tasks completed.
Supporting with other ad hoc projects as required
