Job Summary:
The Tax and General Accounting Specialist will be primarily responsible for general accounting and tax compliance tasks and ensure that all transactions are recorded in the books in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining asset register, run annual cycle count.
Managing vendor registration and resolving invoice and payment issues.
Performing other accounting related task as assigned by the Line Manager.
Ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures, and government regulations.
Performing daily finance related tasks (invoices, payment request etc) tally and file invoices. Complying with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
Assisting in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.
Preparing relevant tax returns to BIR and corporate reporting requirements.
Corporate housekeeping - financial administration
Job Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Management, Financial Management, or any related field
Knowledge in IAS, GAAP, SAP
Preferably with 1 year experience working in the Financial Services industry, Banking industry, BPO, or any related industry
CPA License is an advantage but not required

Willing to work on a blended work set up (combination of work from home and on site set up)
