As a Tax Analyst, you will provide support in the day-to-day operations of the US Tax Team. This position reports to the US Tax Manager in Manila and will work closely with financial staff from all the Company's regions. The location of the position is in Manila, Philippines.
Your Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly sales, use tax, and property tax returns.
Assist with state and local income tax fillings, business license renewals, and resolve tax-related mail.
Calculate and initiate required payments for the above taxes.
Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, and record journal entries in Oracle.
Maintain tax fixed asset listing in external software.
Assist with US federal income tax workpapers.
Other tax duties as required.
Job Requirements
Working knowledge of US federal, state, and local corporate taxation.
Experience with Oracle or other large Enterprise systems would be an asset.
Intermediate to advance proficiency in Excel.
Ability to work either as part of a team or independently with a full range of staff.
Ability to work independently to company deadlines and to manage multiple competing priorities.
Independently organize and prioritize workload to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Must be amenable to work the early morning shift (6:00AM - 3:00PM PHT)
