We are looking for a Tax Accountant who will be responsible for assisting clients and companies with their financial and income tax statements. You will be researching, studying, and interpreting tax law. Your work includes preparing payments, identifying tax savings, and analysing tax issues.

Other Financial Reporting.
Preparation of monthly and quarterly activity statements.
Responding to client queries.
Updating client details where necessary.
Liaising with ATO.
ASIC Registered Agent management - updating client details, send annual company statements and key dates and due dates for clients.
Assist with digitalisation of firm.
Keeping client notes.
Data entry.
Bookkeeping.
Preparation of SMSF reports.
Preparation of SMSF tax return.
Sending ATO correspondence to clients.
Office administration.
Assistance responding to crypto tax enquiries.
Crypto Tax Calculations.
Crypto Tax Returns.
Setting up meetings for Partners.
Requirements
Accountant with minimum exposure of 3 years experiences in an Australian tax firm preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and trust and companies.
Understanding of high levels of client service.
Be able to do the following basics without much training:
Individual Tax Returns
Bookkeeping
Monthly and Quarterly Activity statements
Prepare business year-end financial statements
Understand ASIC obligations for clients and manage ASIC updates and annual company statements and due dates
Exposure to Div7a, GST, CGT, FBT, Payroll, Bookkeeping
Demonstrated technical abilities including experience in MYOB AE, Excel, QuickBooks, MYOB Account Right and Xero,
Deadline-driven with an attention to detail.
Cryptocurrency knowledge
Interested in accounting and business and helping clients
Must-Have
Have completed their CA/CPA
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting Commerce, or closely related field or equivalent experience.
