Job Summary:
The Tax Accountant will be responsible in providing back-end support in the field of Finance and Accounting.
Perform variety of duties related to tax accounting, do tax analytics make conclusions and appropriate recommendations. Prepare and post financial entries. Organize, analyze and prepare complex financial schedules and reports. Conduct special projects as assigned.
Essential Functions:
Preparation and filing of taxes, licenses, permits i.e monthly/quarterly/annual returns for withholding taxes, VAT, income tax, business taxes, etc.
Manage and maintain the tax work books and other related tax tools.
Handle the reconciliation of tax related accounts e.g. deferred tax assets and liabilities, VAT payable and VAT exempt transactions, non-tax deductible expenses, income tax due and payable, withholding taxes.
Liaise with tax authorities regarding audit, investigation and assessment.
Respond to tax notices from various agencies.
Provide the necessary documentation; deal with the validity of tax assessments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Filing of Taxes, reconciliation, tax remittances
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
