We are now looking for a new Tax Accountant to join our growing Australian Accounting team!
What does it mean to be an Accountant in Sleek?
You will be responsible for assisting the Accounting and Tax Department
* Preparing Financial Statements, tax returns for various entity types, monthly and quarterly
activity statements, and payroll support for clients
* Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
* Communication with clients
* Ensuring on-time lodgement of tax returns, activity statements
* Other ad-hoc accounting-related duties as requested by the Management.
Requirements
Accounting degree
MINIMUM 2 YEARS PLUS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH AUSTRALIAN TAX- MUST: preparing tax returns for companies, partnerships and trusts
Experience with XERO---> certified user.
Experience with software like Dext and Hubdoc
Self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive and detail-oriented.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to meet tight deadlines.
