Tax Accountant / analystCemex Holdings Philippines, Inc.

Job Purpose
To ensure compliance with all existing PH tax laws and regulations and CEMEX internal tax compliance requirements and policies.
Main Accountabilities
Tax Returns
Prepare and file tax returns covering quarterly and annual income taxes, value-added taxes, and other percentage taxes, fringe benefits tax, withholding taxes, and documentary stamp tax. Ensures that the computation of tax liability is made in accordance with existing tax laws and regulations based on information provided.
Tax Assessments
Provide assistance in sourcing information from the JDE system as basis for the factual arguments in tax assessments
Information Validation
Validate information requested by suppliers and customers as a result of third-party matching conducted by the BIR
Tax Audits/Inquiries
Provide assistance to tax audits/inquiries by the BIR regarding information declared in the personal income tax returns of individual employees
Tax Schedule
Provide assistance in reconciling and preparing schedules required in the event of tax audit investigation of withholding tax on compensation and fringe benefit tax
Advisory Services
Provide advisory services on personal income taxation of local employees
Job Requirements
Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
At least 3 years of working experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry
Preferably with at least two (2) years extensive work experience in tax
Required Skill(s): Adequate knowledge of prevalent tax provisions and laws, basic knowledge on excise tax (Cement/Mining)
