Job Description
We are looking for a Talent Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team in the Philippines and manage the initial stages of our hiring process.
The primary purpose of the Talent Sourcer is to work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to deliver the Global Talent Acquisition (TA) Strategy and proactively develop a steady and robust candidate pipeline for the various roles in the region.
As a talent sourcer you will be responsible to utilize different channels to search for potential candidates, reach passive candidates and build talent pipelines for future employment needs. If you have solid networking skills, know how to source on a diversified sourcing channel mix and enjoy learning about different roles, we'd like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will proactively identify our hiring needs and help us fill our vacancies with qualified employees. A key element if this position is the ability to attract highly-competitive and best-fit candidates for the job. Success in this role will be determined by providing an increased number of qualified candidates and retention rates.
In addition, you will become a brand ambassador and will act as the "face" of IQ EQ at career fairs and events throughout the region.
Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)
Conceptualize and create applicant sourcing initiatives to ensure a steady pool of candidate pipelines to all Manila hiring needs as well as keeping them engaged for future hiring needs
Source for leads and applications through various channels (Job Portals, Referrals, organic sources, candidate databases) that will fill the hiring requirements of the site
Coordinate and liaise with accredited Head Hunters and other Recruitment entities in partnership with IQEQ
Regularly engage with employees to provide status of their referrals and to increase employee participation in the IQEQ referral program
Build relationships with Universities, Colleges and other institutions and potential source of applicants to strengthen the Employee Branding and awareness of IQEQ
Understand the hiring profile of the vacancies and apply the appropriate sourcing initiative applicable to these roles
Ensure accurate and up to date information of the Applicant Tracking System
Ensure accurate and timely submission of reporting requirements
Process and screen candidates based on the hiring requirements of the job as needed
Conduct interviews and process candidates based on what was indicated in the job brief as needed
Measure conversion rates which includes the number of passive candidates who transform into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
Promote our employer brand on online and offline platforms
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role
Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings) and in-depth knowledge of talent sourcing channels including but not limited to: LinkedIn, JobStreet, Indeed, social media, referrals and organic sources
Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs) as well as other computer applications (MS Office etc.)
Demonstrated capability to use creative & abstract methods to source appropriate candidates
Ability to craft professionally persuasive messages to attract both passive and active Candidates to IQ EQ
Demonstrate capability to extract contact information quickly and efficiently
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Experience in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
Bachelor's level degree would be a plus; preferred fields of study include: Human Resources, Marketing, or related field
