The Talent Acquisition Team is responsible for hard-to-fill, niche roles that require our team to find talent off-platform, on-board them to Upwork, and place them with our clients.
The Talent Acquisition Technical Recruiter will be responsible for building, developing, and executing recruitment strategies in support of our clients' IT/Technical job requisitions.
You will be accountable to achieve one of the most important business outcomes - to staff Upwork's clients with top IT/Technical talent.
You have a passion for recruiting, interviewing, and you have a track record of placing the highest-quality IT/Technical candidates.
Core Responsibilities:
End-to-end recruitment: source (passive and active), invite, qualify, interview, recommend candidates to clients.
Track new IT/Technical requisitions through iCIMS and manage your assigned cases and candidate pipelines.
Recruit for Large Accounts (high-volume/evergreen) IT/Technical talent.
Collaborate with the Large Accounts Team Lead on all Large Accounts efforts.
Provide case review analysis to internal and external clients including location, rate, and market analysis.
Conduct interviews via video call / Google Hangouts.
Comfortable with client (internal and external) management, communication, and collaboration.
Act as the liaison between hiring managers and candidates during the application process.
Collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure successful talent acquisition strategies.
Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss current projects and internal updates.
Requirements
Must have 2+ years of experience recruiting IT/Technical talent.
Knowledgeable of end-to-end recruitment: source (passive and active), invite, qualify, interview, recommend candidates to clients.
Must have PASSIVE sourcing experience.
Proven experience growing and managing talent pipelines.
Proven experience recruiting for niche, hard-to-fill job requirements throughout different industries.
Strong time management, multi-tasking, follow-through, and organizational skills.
Solid English skills (verbal and written) required.
Highly adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Extremely communicative.
Provides proactive solutions to challenges; determined and focused on the end-goal.
