The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist will collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to create sourcing strategies designed to identify, engage, and screen top talent for Pearson. You will be part of a global Talent Acquisition team and focus on using creative sourcing strategies to attract talent. This position reports to the Sourcing Manager, Talent Acquisition.
We will provide you with the tools you need to source through a variety of proven sourcing channels and established proprietary prospect sources.
What we need you to do:
Partner with recruiters to develop recruitment strategies for critical roles
Proactively research and investigate innovative sourcing strategies
Screen all candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs, and basic qualifications
Source active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals
Source passive candidates through networking, cold calling, and Internet research
Provide an excellent candidate experience
Focus on continuous improvements to increase hiring process efficiency
Use feedback from candidates and Hiring Managers to improve experiences
Drive applications (ATS, onboarding etc.) to improve process efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery
Support, plan and actively advocate Pearson's diversity goals and initiatives
Stay connected with external market factors and share new best practices/trends affecting recruiting.
Qualifications - Internal

Proven history of identifying, evaluating and hiring high calibre talent
Experience working in a large enterprise organisation
Strong sense of urgency and ability to drive and deliver results
Outstanding communication skills including the ability to influence candidates and stakeholders.
Understand the importance of candidate experience and operate with a customer focused mindset at all times
Able to think creatively and design innovative sourcing campaigns
Strong business acumen, analytical and planning skills with a genuine desire to understand the way digital technology is impacting education
Strong proficiency with all technologies - ATS, MS Office, Social, Web
