About The Role
Role Purpose:
Implement various recruitment processes, recruitment sources and channels. It introduces process improvement such as call-outs, screening, interviewing and administering job offers for newly hires and employment documentation.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end recruitment
Create recruitment strategy based on client needs
Conduct initial interviews using reliable recruiting and selection tools/method to filter candidates
201 Filing
Assess applicants relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
Perform other screening processes required (such as testing)
Inform potential applicants about the job or career opportunities in the organization
Record relevant information about the newly hires in the database
Conduct background investigation of newly hires
Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
Perform searches for qualified candidates through internet recruiting resources such as Jobstreet, Linkedin etc., social media, and employee referrals
Attend liaison tasks such as job fairs, meetings, booth completion, and other recruitment events
Perform other duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
Must possess a High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, any field.
Specialist Skills and Experience Required
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. 2 to 3 years work experience as a recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc)
Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checking etc)
Familiarity with Recruitment database and Applicant tracking systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
