Skills and Experience:
10+ years' experience working as a Data Architect with experience in Data migration & reconciliation strategy, Data profiling strategy, Cutover strategy, Deployment strategy, High level design for data migration
Working experience with Talend or Informatica
Strong Master Data Management, Data Warehouse Design and Data Architecture skills
Preparation of various business documentations namely business requirement, functional specifications, key operating procedures
Establish guiding principles and design standards where not available, and fine tune existing standards to ensure consistency.
Collaborate with Engineering Leads, Data Engineers and other Solution Architects to embed the principles and standards.
Function as the point of contact for other business units in relation to Data Platform Architecture.
Understand and articulate the costs and benefits of architectural choices to key stakeholders.
Feed into Data Technology Strategy input into prioritisation and planning
Facilitate workshops to discover and document challenges
Work with business to set/ align the strategic direction on data migration approach
Responsible for the solution architecture, strategies and roadmap
Coaching other team members on the high-level solution design
Sets and enforces standards and principles
Aligns solution architecture with program architecture
Data model and conversion review
Stakeholder management (UAT, cutover planning, etc.)
Liaise with the data governance team to ensure data ownership and compliance with data standards
Develop long term relationships with key customers
