GENERAL SCOPE OF FUNCTION/JOB PURPOSE
The Network Engineer is responsible for the setup, maintenance and repair of the local (Cebu) IT network. This position oversees the proper function and use of the local network and its related software and hardware systems. Regular scheduled data backups and their integrity and security are also within the position's responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions
Maintain, manage and support the application systems and servers of the company.
Perform Documentation, maintaining quality documents surrounding Requirement Analysis, Fit-Gap Analysis, System Configuration Setup, User Acceptance Test, User Trainings, Go-Live
Maintain server security and minimize the downtime in the application systems.
Coordinate with other MIS in the implementation and installation of the systems as needed.
Perform back-ups and systems upgrades.
Provide all access, security rights, and data to users for the application systems.
Knows how to read plans and implement it.
Help build a team environment and customer service oriented team.
Provides technical assistance to the MIS team in terms of system related problems.
Perform other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.
