Systems Administrator-Distributed Disk, SAN and NAS Administration Who You Are and What Will You Do As a System Administrator for Compute, Distributed Disk, SAN, and NAS Administration, you'll be able to do the following tasks/function: Guide a squad(s) in providing an end-to-end service(s) for GTS Optimized Services. You will facilitate and drive the use of agile practices for squad operations including optimizing workflow, identifying bottlenecks, and removing obstacles impacting squad performance. Act as technical resource and point of escalation for team members. Engages in the monitoring, managing of the compute, storage and back-up and recovery infrastructure of the client Engages in identifying and resolving complex problems relating to the service(s) provided by the squad(s). Deliver by building proof of concept solutions with storage system technology and architecting storage solutions to address client requirements. Gain expertise in one or more storage system technology areas such as disk, tape, optical, SAN, NAS, or storage software related to these technologies. Required Technical Skills: Possesses an in-depth knowledge of technical solutions. This role requires 3 to 5 years hands on exposure to the following tools: 1.IBM Storwize V5K/V7k 2.Dell EMC, VMAX, VNX, Unity, Isilon, Data Domain 3.IBM Storage Systems Storage area networks (SAN), Flash storage, Tape storage Knowledge in Data Recovery, and Data Warehousing within a large Enterprise environment Experience in SAN, iSCSI, NAS storage device configuration and administration. Experience with block and file data migrations. Proven knowledge in Windows, Linux and AIX operating systems Knowledge of VMware and other Hypervisor hosts and cluster architecture It will be nice to have an experience with EMC Networker & IBM TSM installation, configuration, and administration. Other Skill Sets Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (dayshift/midshift) in IBM client site (Pasay City). Required Education: You should at least have a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
