Description
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.

The Aspect Telephony systems engineer is responsible for the installation, upgrading, testing of telephony products into customer environments and Call Design cloud environments in a timely manner to ensure a high standard of customer service. The role will also be responsible for end user training for telephony products.
Key duties and deliverables:
Installation and testing of software applications
Applications are installed, configured and tested to ensure a correctly functioning product is delivered to the customer or project.
End user training
End user training of telephony products
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
Delivery of project documents in agreed timeframes.
Pro-actively maintain and develop project templates as new software releases are made available.
Ensuring customer technical documentation is updated with any system changes as they occur.
Providing support to other business functions
Pre Sales / Sales / Services teams: where required, provide technica lassistance or input into solutions owned by other teams within a timeframe agreed to with the requestor.
Service Desk: respond to escalated support tickets in a timely manner ensuring that ticket SLAs are not breached due to an idle escalation.
Maintaining product certifications
Ensure Aspect Service Readiness training and certifications are maintainedfor latest major release.
Product SME - UIP, ALM, AQM, CXP
o Maintain an in depth knowledge of UIP, ALM, AQM and CXP including product functionality and implementation methods for current and new releases.
o Act as an internal escalation point for UIP, ALM, AQM and CXP related queries and issues.
Required skills / Experience:
3-5 years' experience with Aspect Telephony software (UIP, ALM, AQM & CXP)
5-10 year's industry relevant telephony experience
Customer end user training experience
Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and reports
A demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office
A high level of personal motivation and a commitment to strong customer service andthe strategic business needs
Travel required, both domestic and international
Manage responsibilities with initiative, requiring appropriate levels of supervision
Think creatively and solve problems
