Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership & Administrative Responsibilities
o Assist management in oversight and leadership of the application support operations team
o Suggest and strengthen policies and procedures related to application systems, domain applications, and other related components.
o Consolidate and prepare regular reports, analysis and recommendations of strengths, weaknesses, and improvements in direct relation to areas managed by the department.
o Help the company achieve certifications such as PCIDSS, ISO, or other similar standards through performance of all required tasks and adherence to corporate standards.
o Manage, mentor and motivate team members to enhance individual performance and develop team capabilities.
o Define day to day tasks, work orders, and communicate these roles to other junior department members.
o Application systems are defined as, but not limited to Windows Domains, DNS, DHCP, Email, Cloud infrastructure, and other related-software infrastructure utilized by Bastion Inc in performance of its services
Operational Responsibilities
o Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all corporate systems, domains, system and user applications.
o Lead the enforcement of the cybersecurity standards of the company through implementation and management of system administrator controls such as passwords, domains, GPOs and the like.
o Monitor, manage, secure, and administer domains (ex. Windows forests, desktops, domains), support and infrastructure servers, application support systems such as email, internal corporate sites, etc.
o Monitor, manage and secure user desktops, accounts, and other related works.
o Manage and secure the backup lifecycle in cooperation with other departments.
o Provide advanced technical support and leadership for both hardware and software issues users or other departments may encounter
o Provide top-level technical advice and be the go-to resource in system administration topics such as OS, domain, cybersecurity, system applications and other related systems.
o Participate as part of the Cybersecurity response team to top level, or major incidents and cases.
o Work along with other technical departments to maintain, operate, and upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced performance, functionality and/or resolution of issues
General Corporate Responsibilities
o Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
o Perform other tasks or duties that are deemed fit by management from time to time
Qualifications
· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
· Must have at least 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years of direct experience professionally leading teams and projects in two or more of the following fields: (Windows Domain Management, DNS/DHCP, Email Servers, Cloud Infrastructure)
· Willing to work in Salcedo, Makati
· This role is an on-call role for emergency situations.
Competencies Required
· Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
· Must be expert in Microsoft domain administration and management. Knowledge in Ubuntu/RHEL/Linux is preferred.
· Must have direct experience and expertise in DNS/DHCP/Email management, GPO management, Powershell and/or other scripting language
· Must have full domain lifecycle experience. Conceptualization, design, management and maintenance.
· Knowledge and experience in operating under ISO 27001, PCI or other certified environment is a must.
· Up-to-date MCSA certification is a must. Masters degree will be given consideration in lieu of certification
· Must have secondary demonstrated skills in cyber security.
· Ongoing professional certifications other than Microsoft are welcome and will be given consideration.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Self-motivated, able to work independently with little or no supervision.
· This is an on-call role (for emergency situations)
· Ability to thrive in high pressure situations and multi-task efficiently.
· Able to work in an entrepreneurial and highly regulated environment
