IT Systems Administrator are the gatekeepers to the many systems that run our infrastructure. The IT Systems Administration Administrator provides high-value IT services and leverages our leading-edge tools technology portfolio in our global network. MFNA Administrator This Administrator will function as a Technical Network Administrator on the Tools team, responsible for independently supporting the Microfocus Network Automation (MFNA) tool administration & troubleshoot issues, doing installations, device discovery & network diagram generations, generate reports, integrate with other tools using APIs by coordinating with MFNA vendor. This Administrator must have MFNA hands-on experience and prior tool experience in device auto-discovery, dynamic network diagram generation, APIs for integrations is essential. Other Network Tools Administration (as example MFNA (HPNA) and Solarwinds etc.) is preferred. Expected to have a Network Engineers depth of knowledge in Network administration, which includes knowledge of applicable processes, methodologies, standards, products and frameworks, as well as routing/switching and general Network troubleshooting, it is essential that this administrator also has scripting experience for python or pearl (no preference).-Responsible for driving automated configuration, change, and security compliance across the network. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent field. Licenses or certifications: CCNA or CCNP (preferred) Has internet access for Work At Home set up. Hands on experience with LINUX & PYTHON . Must be amendable to work on a Nightshift Shedule. Preference given for candidates with experience in a subset of the following: o Monitoring platforms (Solarwinds & GCDO) o App Performance monitoring (AppNeta&GCDO) o OOB Management (Opengear) o NetFlow (Plixer) o Syslog (Splunk) o IPAM (Infoblox) o Network Automation (Netbrain& MFNA) o Avaya Call manager o Asterix Webrtc o Genesys Dialers o ACD/VACD/ IVR experience o Microsoft OS - enterprise server systems o Basic Azure Cloud computing KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & THER CHARACTERISTICS: Excellent personal computer skills including desktop computing systems hardware and software. Advanced understanding of server, networks, storage, applications and scripting Strong investigation and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to work in a team fostered environment, and demonstrated ability to function remotely as necessary. Ability to prioritize and organize work in a multi-tasked environment, and under pressure.
