Our Infrastructure Team at Circles.Life works hard to ensure our Infrastructure is highly available and scalable in order to deliver the digital user experience to our customers. As a Senior Engineer, Systems Operations, your key objectives will be to...
Infrastructure design, commissioning and support management for company points of presence across geographies
Infrastructure technical liaison between Circles.life and 3rd party partners
Build and manage support team for geographical expansions
Budget planning and forecasting for future and/or potential requirements
IT related equipment testing and installation (Severs, Storage, network devices, etc.)
Managing of level 2 and above troubleshooting and system administration for Linux and Ubuntu system in VMware and Cloud environment
Manage new country launch project for IT infrastructure domain
Requirements:
Minimum 8 Years' of working experience in a similar role with at least 3 Years' of experience leading major/turnkey projects independently
Degree in IT related majors.
Certification in Linux, Unix, Cloud and Network
Hands on experience of level 2 and above troubleshooting and system administration for Linux and Ubuntu system in VMware and Cloud environment
Hands on experience in Network Administration (subnetting, routing configuration etc.)
Strong Project Management skills with a proven track record of managing various projects end-to-end.
Knowledge in VPN / Firewall (Fortinet preferred)
Knowledge in Site Reliability Practices (Monitoring, Logging, Backup and Restoration etc.)
Hands on experience in virtualisation (Oracle Virtualization, VMWare, KVM etc.)
Knowledge in various Public Cloud Domains (AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud and Azure etc.)
Ability to manage and work with a regional team on a remote-basis
Ability to manage multiple vendors and stakeholders while negotiating various expectations
Must be able to support rotating based 24x7 duty
Nice to Have:
Familiarity in Coding / Scripting one or more languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
Familiarity with agile methodology and ITIL process
Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc)
Familiarity with service containers methodology (docker, kubernetes, etc.)
Knowledge of telecom systems (OCS, PCRF, Provisioning, GGSN, MSC, etc.)
Knowledge in the Atlassian Stack (JIRA, Confluence etc.)
