BASIC PURPOSE / JOB DESCRIPTION The Surveillance Senior Director is responsible for overseeing and managing surveillance operations within an organization. They ensure that the organization's surveillance systems and protocols are effective, efficient, and aligned with security objectives. The role involves supervising a team of surveillance personnel, coordinating surveillance activities, implementing security measures, and collaborating with other departments. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Develop and implement surveillance strategies and protocols to protect the organization's assets, facilities, and personnel. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the surveillance team, ensuring the smooth functioning of surveillance systems. Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for surveillance activities to ensure consistency and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Monitor and evaluate surveillance activities to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement. Recruit, train, and manage a team of surveillance personnel, including supervisors, analysts, and operators. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring proper workload distribution and efficient utilization of resources. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations for surveillance team members. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional growth and teamwork within the team. Assess the organization's surveillance needs and recommend appropriate technologies, equipment, and software solutions. Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of surveillance systems, including cameras, monitors, recorders, and related equipment. Ensure that surveillance systems are properly integrated with other security systems, such as access control or alarm systems. Stay updated with emerging surveillance technologies and trends, implementing necessary upgrades or enhancements to improve system effectiveness. Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats that could impact the organization's security. Analyze surveillance data and reports to detect patterns, trends, or suspicious activities that may pose security risks. Collaborate with other security stakeholders, such as physical security, cybersecurity, or law enforcement, to mitigate identified risks. REQUIREMENT AND QUALIFICATION Atleast 10 years in a managerial role within the Surveillance field. Preferred resorts Surveillance and Security experience. Sound knowledge of team building and management. Experience of interaction and reporting to Executive management. Of good standing with clean and clear government agency clearance to obtain a gaming employee license.
