WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE:
This position exists for effective management of the Supply Planning function ensuring integration of business processes between various stakeholders. The objective of this role is to ensure the synchronization of supply in a rapidly changing business environment.
The role also requires leading the production plan process along with other key functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance) with the main goal of understanding the supply requirements including but not limited to optimal finished goods inventory level according to company targets, minimizing operational losses by ensuring proper supply from the factory and proper allocation to the warehouses.
Further, the position also leads the interaction with GSC (Global Supply Chain) to ensure that the full range of products is always available in a dynamic business environment. The Supply Planning Manager works as a cross-functional lead to influence, support, and train team members on new planning processes that support overall business objectives.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive a dynamic supply planning model and strategies to support demand scenarios, product-specific requirements, and manufacturing capabilities. Provide JTI management with analytical support by providing an in-depth analysis of demand and supply requirements and inventory level analysis in quantity and days. Recommend options for gaps in demand vs supply and discuss possible courses of action. Provide assessment of potential legislation and excise changes that may have an impact on the product/packaging/plans affecting MRP as well as the impact on the entire JTI and industry volume.
Lead cross-functional analysis together with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Global Supply Chain (GSC) to ensure production flexibility in a dynamic business environment and to ensure proper planning of market initiatives and projects. Ensure supply continuity by leading gap-closing initiatives throughout the supply chain.
Critical lead in the S&OP process ensures that manufacturing partners have the capacity to support the demand plan. Lead the local Supply Review Meeting as part of the local S&OP Process.
Leads the Supply Planning Team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Works as a cross-functional Lead to influence, support, and train team members on new planning processes that support overall business objectives.
Lead process improvement initiatives to strengthen and improve overall Supply Chain KPIs. Establish and recommend dynamic inventory levels at warehouses to ensure maximum working capital. Minimize transportation costs by implementing inventory models and allocating stocks to the right locations. Minimize FG write-offs by proactively monitoring and pushing move-outs of slow-moving SKUs. Maximize tax stamp purchases by anticipating industry factors and future legislation.
Ensure that the full cycle of Supply Network Planning in SAP APO is in line with Market Planning cycles and GSC requirements. Check open POs and ensure data uploaded in SAP is accurate. Maintain SAP-related entries to ensure timely processing of new products.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
Possess a Degree in Business Administration preferably under Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years experience in demand planning in a sales and distribution environment of the FMCG industry.
Good written and verbal English communication skills
Must be computer literate.
SAP knowledge would be advantageous.
