Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Analyst I is expected to provide tactical support to the whole supply chain group (Sourcing, Procurement, Inventory and Operations) by reviewing, analyzing, documenting and validating user requirements, applications and processes. Provides support to key Supply Chain personnel with project execution, report generation and supply chain processes system maintenance. He/She will be responsible in updating and monitoring the Key Performance Indicators for the Supply Chain function. This person monitors, updates, analyzes, recommends, executes, and does regular reports with the primary objective of reducing the Invoice Holds for both Esker & Oracle and increasing efficiency.
Major Responsibilities:
Gathers and evaluates data from multiple sources. Analyzes, reconciles and identifies measurable opportunities for improvement.
Provides tactical support to develop and maintain processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity of supply chain applications
Collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
Identify and Implement productivity improvement projects.
Supports any other core Procurement/Supply Chain programs that will impact the overall Supply Chain decision
Assist in report development and in gathering data for executive reports for sourcing.
Qualifications
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
Fresh graduate of Supply Chain/Engineering related programs or 1-2 years' work experience.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.
Detailed oriented and accurate
Proficient in MS Excel (including pivot tables), and MS PowerPoint
Well-developed analytical skills, articulate, innovative and confident
Flexible, able to work on own initiative, deal with more than one project at a time, can work under pressure and tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks accordingly
Very good communication skills, verbal and written
Self-starter and a strong team player
Travel:
Willing to travel but not necessary.
